I have been pumping for 2 weeks. I have noticed that I have trouble maintaining the pressure in the cylinder. I'll pump up to 2 or 3, but it will quickly drop to 1 and I'll haver to constantly pump back up. Even as I am releasing the pump handle the pressure is reducing. Is this a defective pump?
In a book I have it mentions detatching the pump from the cylinder and maintaining pressure for 10-15 minutes. I can't imagine this working. And I do have a good "seal".
thanks

Sir,
Lately, there has been a bad batch of female connectors circulating (plaguing) Dr Joel Kaplan cylinders. We (JN OUTLET) do everything possible to screen these bad connectors by testing every cylinder prior to shipping to our customers. It boggles my mind but there are a few cylinders that sneak through our quality checks (don't know how this happens, but it does).
Do me a favor and check the pressure drop when placed on a hairless portion of your body (stomach maybe).
If the pressure drop is still considerable, it is definetly the female connector (on top the cylinder) and we will ship you a replacement connector.
If the pressure holds on the hairless portion of your body, the air leak is mostly due to your pubic hair.
From here, you have 3 options:
1) Shave your pubic hair - or if this is not desired, simply trim your pubic hair back some.
2) Use more ID Glide.
3) Use a thicker lubricant - The cheapest way is to get body lotion with vitamin E (for the skin).
Let me know.
Thanks,
Nick
