After I pump, I put on the collar or ring. However, my erection inevitably goes down in 2-5 minutes. Any input on this matter?

Sir,
The collar/leather strap is used to keep some of the blood in the penis but not all. When you go down in size 2-5 minutes later, I am assuming that you are still semi erect and not totally flaccid.
If this is the case, then you are doing it right!
Dr Joel Kaplan's intention was to ensure the blood in the penis does not get what they call "stale," but still maintain some of the expansion happening in your penis - a lot like stretching out. Stale blood happens when you have an erection for an extended period of time. The erection actually causes the reduction of bloodflow to your penis. Stale blood does not benefit enlargement.
