I should really start with a little background information; in December 2001 while living in the USA I suffered a major accident where I feel quite a distance and shattered my lower back. This has left me disabled and ever since the accident I have encountered numerous problems in the genital area which post test have proven to be a result of permanent nerve damage and also prostate problems. Previous to my accident I was extremely healthy, especially in the penile region, having the most solid and errect penis my wife could wish for. After the accident sex has been quite an unpleasant experience for me both physically and emotionally. With all this in mind I went to see a Urologist and he prescribed me Viagra (plus another similar drug), all these drugs did not work for me, I experienced no errections and suffered blinding migranes, and additional chronic back pain (as if my already existing back pain was not enough!). Over time I feel that my penile health has withered greatly, my flacid state seems to look more like a third testicle and when initmate with my wife trying to get an errection was extremely difficult and no where near as solid as it was previous to my accident. I did not really know what to do seeing as the Viagra did not work but talking with a friend of mine who is a registered social worker, she mentioned that some of her clients have had good success with pumps. She said that because of the benefits I receive from the Government for my disability I would qualify for a free pump but just as she attempted to supply one for me there was a change in local Government policy in that they would not issue any more pumps in case there were any legal issues surrounding personal injury!! It was at this point I came into contact with JN Outlet who recommended the Kaplan pump system. I purchased the appropriate unit and have been pumping for about two-weeks. I noticed that the supplied vacuum tube was actually too small when effective pumping was reached so they have kindly supplied me with the correct size for a discounted amount. Would you believe that I have never measured my penis in any state, never felt the need, but after pumping in my present condition the base of my penis is getting very hard whereas I had noticed after the accident this was getting worse as time went on, in the sense that it just did not get hard when trying to obtain an errection. My wife and I both notice how my penis is geeting very full in the girth again which is quite an emotional boost after all this time I can tell you! Only problem is that I still have problems maintain an errect state after removal of the tube, I have tried the supplied cock ring but this does not work either, I think I am going to have to have a look around for some other types of rings and try those. On a down side, today after my routine pumping session I did notice a small blood blister which is very tender on the shaft of my penis, I wonder if this is because I am still using the old tube which is too small (waiting for the new one to arrive)?! Anyway, I hope this message has been of interest.

I am so very sorry to hear about that accident and the affect it has had on you and your wife. I did not understand what you might have meant by cock rings...are you talking about the strap that goes around your cock and balls, or the tight rubber rings that go at the very base of your penis after a pump? I have tried both, and like the leather straps, because they feel good, and i like the way they look...but for actual constriction and keeping the blood in the penis, the tight rubber rings at the base of the penis work best for maintaining an erection. The rings can get rather uncomfortable after a while, and you don't want to leave them on for any extended length of time.
As far as that blister is concerned...take a break and let it go away. I have been a pumper for over 20 years and have done just about everything you can do to your cock...bruises, blisters, you name it. I had posted earlier in a question from Smitty about lube...and I find if you keep yourself lubed really well with aloe vera gel..it has a healing quality and seems to expand the skin very well...so watch your pressure and lube really well.
Good luck, Gary
