I mentioned to my wife I might buy a Kaplan pump and she looked at me like I had two heads. She said I'm fine as I am and don't need it. Has any one else had to deal with a partner who thought pumping was unnecessary? And a little strange? Thanks.

I discussed with my wife about my desire to pump and she did'nt seem to mind. So I order my pumps she was not amused. Then I had troble with my electric pump and she helped me send it back for repair. So started to use the manual pump and was pumping almost every night for 2 plus hours. The electric was only gone for a few days and i was glad to get back. I the started to use it again and she ask me why do you do this, I explain to her and she said it was rediculous and did'nt want to see it.
So I still pump during the night I go into another bedroom and for a couple of hours 2 to 3 times a week. I wish she would be part of this experiance but I feel it almost never going to happen. I will continue to try and help her so that I can come back out of the dark.

First as a man you should not have to justify anything you want to do with your penis!That piece of flesh between your legs belongs to you! I could see an objection to you bringing home another women or another man etc.... but makeing a stink about pumping is not warranted. Women pierce their ear's, get breast agmentation, were more makeup then most car's have paint! I am guessing she does not ask you about hwhat makeup to wear or buy. I am sure if she wanted to get her ears pierced again she would not expect you to object.If you wanted to start working out at the YMCA or Bally's you would not ask her for permission would you?
I treat my wife like a business partner(I love her as well) but in ever partnership someone has 51% of the vote and the other has 49% it is never really trully 50/50! You will find that on issues that are more important to you that you need to be assertive!When a man is polite but assertive he will get far less objections and opinons from others. If you are not assertive and approach this from the angle of needing her approval you just opened the barn door preety wide for her to object.
I do not think you need to hide out either.I mean if you are haveing sex with someone pumping around them should not be an issue! I would recomend that you not spend more then an hour per day doing this. Takeing two hours away from your relationship with her is not going to help. It is going to polarize her to be even more against it.The pump becomes the "other woman"!!!
